Our story begins with four friends, family, and inspiration. Our legacy traces to Maria Fajardo, the Delgado family matriarch, who cooked for copper miners in pre-depression Arizona.
At Mekiko Cantina, our inspiration comes from four generations of Delgado family recipes. Fajardo's son, Florencio, and his wife, Maria, brought "abuelita's" recipes to their first restaurant in downtown Palm Springs California in 1958.
The breakfast was great! We ordered the chilaquiles, huevos rancheros and breakfast burrito. Everything was delicious! I wish we would have gotten a picture, but we ate it too fast! Highly recommended!
We are Californians and this Mexican restaurant is amazingly delicious! It was so nice that one of the owners Jenny connected with us, the customer. The fish tacos, tacos dorados and frijoles de la olla were authentically delicious. This is a great Mexican restaurant and the customer service was amazing!
This food was delicious! We traveled from Texas where we are very familiar with good Tex-Mex and I will tell you, we were extremely impressed with the quality of the food. The meat was lean, the ingredients were fresh, and the flavor was amazing!
It was a pleasure to dine at Mekiko Cantina during a recent trip to Ko Olina. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly, attentive and extremely knowlegable about food allergies. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that the restaurant and bar are peanut and tree nut-free...
We had a larger group and they accommodated us very nicely! The atmosphere was great with the live music, he even took our requests! Food was good, the husband and I split the combo fajitas. We would definitely go back!
